Pirate Bay Trial

"It used to be only movies," Pirate Bay founder Peter Sunde told his followers on Twitter yesterday, as news broke of the early outcome of yesterday's trial. "Now even verdicts are out before the official release." To file-sharers worldwide, the irony will not go unappreciated.

iTunes Lyrics and Shared Files

I've been using this program called GimmeMoreTune to add lyrics to the songs that are currently playing. I don't why it can't batch add the lyrics and it really annoys me that you can't sort or search by lyrics. It would be great to have some smart playlists based on lyrics or if you remember a verse but forget the song name. I hope they add this functionality to the next version of iTunes, I mean the iPhone and iPod Touch have the ability to pull up lyrics when the song is playing. I was reading about another program that did batch editing and it mentioned this lyrics feature may be coming. The program, pearlyrics, got taken down by the creator because of some copyright infringement thing. How it would be illegal to add lyrics to songs in iTunes is beyond me, but a lot of the music copyright crap doesn't make much sense. I'll post on my music copyright thoughts some other time. I also run into problems using sorting scripts because my library is just shy of 15000 tracks and they I guess can't handle it.

Secondly, I really wish there was some way to share identical tracks between albums. I have all these compilations and best of albums and some artists like Nirvana or NOFX have 4 or 5 duplicates of the same track. This eats up precious space on my HD. Or I ran into this dilemma when I got this "Best of 08" playlist my buddy put together. I had some of the songs so I just kept it as a playlist rather than duplicating the tracks and treating it as an album but now I have a bunch of single song single artist tracks. (Side note I'm big into having complete albums for all my music and a very complete, organized library) Now I feel obligated to download the whole albums for all these other artists.

Such a cool Visual

Worth Your Weight In Gold

Just studying here and a quick side note.
At the current price of gold at 942.60($US)/troy ounce and my weight of 150lbs = 2187.5 troy ounces I'd need to have a net worth of 2.062 Million US Dollars to effectively be worth my weight in gold. One Day!

Under Your Belt

Rack up some experience points and get that stuff under your belt. That's a weird expression. I personally don't have any storage capacity under my belt. Below maybe is my pants/pockets. I could be like batman and attach things to my belt or have pockets on my belt in which to put smoke bombs and bat tracers, but no place under my belt. That's probably why it's only a non material thing like experience that you put under there. It could be something to do with maybe notches in your belt, some sort of pro wrestler reference or maybe just you know getting a big gut on top of which to put said belt.

Wreak havoc! Destruction! Mayhem!
Wreak? You wreak! Dude you really smell.
Havoc must be the only other instance, other than smelling of something, that you use wreak. Kind of makes sense though as I've definitely smelt some things that wreaked havoc all up my nostrils. (Grimace after a day biking)

It's Not Rocket Surgery

Some people really play down what is actually very difficult.

(Doctor about to perform brain surgery)
Nurse: Doctor are you sure you know what you're doing?
Doctor: Pfft... it's not Rocket Science
